Catholic Identity
‘I have come that you may have life, and have it in abundance’ (John 10:10)
91µ¼º½ serves the four parishes of Camperdown, Terang, Mortlake and Timboon. As a Catholic school, we take inspiration from the life and words of Jesus Christ to provide a holistic education that allows students to grow and flourish.
We strive to create a spiritual and liturgical environment that enhances the Catholic identity of everyone in our community – students, staff and families – through Religious Education classes, prayer, social justice activities and liturgical celebrations. Religious Education classes are compulsory for students of all year levels.
The College celebrates twin heritages:
- The founding parishes whose families and clergy gave rise to Catholic Regional College in 1973; and
- The Sisters of Mercy whose leadership and service were instrumental in Catholic schools across our district for many decades.
At 91µ¼º½ every effort is made to bring the needs of our world and personal lives to a focus with prayer leading to action. In this way we live out the call of the foundress of the Sisters of Mercy, Catherine McAuley, to see God in all things and to support each other to follow God’s call.
We should be as shining lamps, giving light to all. (Catherine McAuley)
